This demo was recorded 100% live off the floor to digital audio tape at 333 Duckworth St. in the city of St. John's, Newfoundland by Don Ellis with Darshiva as part of their 1994 ECMA showcase application. They used the version of "Distant Children" heard here for the "Danger: Falling Rock" cassette compilation, but otherwise all tracks are previously unreleased. This is a direct cassette transfer of that complete session from the Tapehead cassette archive and was converted to digital format in 2017. There were multiple takes of some of these songs, so I did my best to identify the ones Johnny would've wanted you to hear from that night. Due to the ravages of time you'll hear some sonic degradation of the audio material within these recordings - but they're still mostly very listenable.

Darshiva was a fine rock outfit originating from St. John's Newfoundland - Canada in the early 1990's. In memory of guitarist Johnny Fisher who passed on Dec. 2nd of the year 2020 - R.I.P. old friend.
